Because of the primary nature of the hall as a music/arts venue, we are not able to accommodate strenuous activities such as ball games, bouncy castles, etc. and other facilities are very limited: no catering, no alcohol license, and events must normally end by 11:00pm (as a condition of our lease). Please note that we are not currently taking bookings for private parties or related events, except in special circumstances at the discretion of the Trustees.
A defribrillator (AED, Automated External Defribrillator) is available for use in case of need. It is located just inside the front door, on the wall to the right, adjacent to the alarm control panel. The cabinet is not locked, but is fitted with an alarm to discourage tampering.
The hall is arranged on two levels: Ground Floor and Lower Ground Floor…
Please note that the lower ground floor kitchen is not currently in use.
Available rooms…
Main Hall (2 pics), Studio 1 & Studio 2 (during refurbishment)
Car parking…
On-street parking is limited and can be difficult at times, especially when larger groups are using the hall.
Please park prettily…
- Be considerate to our neighbours
- Do not block driveway access
- Do not park on street corners
- Rule 243 of the Highway Code states you must not park opposite or within 10 metres (32 feet) of a junction, except in an authorised parking space.
