Doors Open Day
Sunday 6 September 2026
10am – 4pm
As part of the EDC Doors Open Day, and to celebrate year 5 of the DCB Kessington project, the hall will be open for visitors.
Feel free to pop in and take a look around. Free tea, coffee, refreshments, with informal live music, dance and other presentations illustrating the various activities in this vibrant community facility.
And bring your dancing shoes for a tea dance, hosted by the Kessington Swing Band, from 5pm (tbc)
DCB Kessington is a subsidiary of Dunbartonshire Concert Band. The charitable trust (SCIO) was established in 2019 at the invitation of East Dunbartonshire Council to manage and promote Kessington Public Hall as a centre for community activities, focussing on music and the arts.
The Hall has undergone a major refurbishment programme, and this work will continue as we expand and enhance the facilities.
Kessington Hall is available to let for a range of appropriate activities, predominantly in the area of local community music and the arts, under the guidance of the Board of Trustees and Artistic Director.
