Due to the ongoing coronavirus situation some hall activities may not be feasible, and others may be restricted – current guidelines for performing arts can be viewed here. With this in mind, we are keen to encourage appropriate use, and will keep the situation under review.

Meanwhile, arrangements for the hall will include:

  • one-way entry/exit routes
  • hand sanitation at key locations
  • designated isolation room

All user groups will be required to comply with current Scottish Government COVID-19 guidelines. When applying for lets, groups must submit a risk assessment appropriate for their proposed activities. Depending on circumstances, issues to be addressed might include:

  • room occupancy and social distancing
  • face coverings
  • infection control/hand sanitising
  • entry/exit procedures to minimise contact (we can advise on possible one-way systems within the hall)
  • records of attendance & contact tracing
  • cleaning of furniture and equipment before/after each activity
  • any other activity-related risks
